Acer has announced the latest expansion of its mainstream gaming lineup with the launch of the new Acer Nitro AI laptops and the compact Nitro 20 desktop. Combining the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs with AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series processors, these new devices offer a full gaming experience, advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, and a design suited for small setups — all at an affordable price.

Acer Nitro AI Laptops: Portable AI Performance Without Breaking the Bank

The Nitro AI series includes models with 18- and 16-inch displays, now also available in slim variants — ideal for users who value mobility without compromising power. All models are Copilot+ PCs, equipped with up to AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 365 processors and up to NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5070 Ti GPUs, based on NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture.

These GPUs deliver next-gen graphics, realistic gameplay, and creative acceleration with technologies like NVIDIA DLSS 4 and NVIDIA Studio. Memory can go up to 32 GB DDR5, paired with PCIe Gen 4 SSDs of up to 2 TB.

The Nitro 18 AI (AN18-61) features an 18-inch WQXGA panel, a 165 Hz refresh rate, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut — ideal for both gaming and content creation. The Nitro 16 AI (AN16-61) and Nitro 16S AI (AN16S-61) offer WQXGA resolutions, refresh rates up to 180 Hz, and peak brightness of 400 nits, enhanced by NVIDIA G-SYNC™ for a smooth visual experience. The Nitro V 16S AI (ANV16S-61) stands out with a 3 ms response time while keeping the same resolution and refresh rate standards.

All laptops feature advanced thermal systems with dual fans, multiple intake and exhaust vents, liquid metal thermal grease, and optimized heat pipes. The 16S and V 16S models boast a sleek and slim design (less than 19.9 mm thick) with a durable metal chassis. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, USB 4, and FHD IR cameras. Users can manage performance and access AI tools via NitroSense™ software and the Experience Zone.

Acer Nitro 20: Compact Desktop, Big on Performance

Measuring just 15 liters, the new Acer Nitro 20 (N20-100) is a compact yet powerful desktop, ideal for gaming setups with limited space. It comes with either an AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 365 processor or an Intel® Core™ i5-13420H processor. This system supports efficient local AI performance and optimized energy use. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 GPU ensures next-level graphics and rapid image rendering, supporting demanding games and applications.

Storage options include up to 1 TB HDD and 1 TB SSD. The minimalist exterior features a red Nitro logo and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button for quick authentication. Connectivity is strong with Wi-Fi 6E, several USB-C and USB-A ports, and multiple video output options for various monitor setups.
