Samsung Partners with Nexon to Deliver an Unmatched 3D Gaming Experience with 'The First Berserker: Khazan'

Samsung Electronics has announced a partnership with game developers Nexon and Neople to create an immersive and unprecedented 3D gaming experience in the upcoming game "The First Berserker: Khazan." Utilizing the advanced technology of the Odyssey 3D monitor, this project aims to enhance the gaming experience, especially in the intense battles and cinematic scenes within the game.

The collaboration between Samsung and the developers focuses on customizing 3D elements, with special attention to the composition of characters, backgrounds, and cinematic sequences throughout the game. The innovative technology of the Odyssey 3D monitors allows for precise adjustment of 3D effects, ensuring an unmatched level of control for developers and a final result that stays true to the creative vision of the team.

With the aim of creating specific scenarios in which game elements turn 3D, Nexon and Neople are optimizing the focal distance of the effects, adjusting them to ensure clearer visualization without overlap. This approach helps reduce one of the most common issues in 3D games, crosstalk (visual overlap), while enhancing clarity during key moments, such as epic boss battles and cinematic cutscenes.

“The First Berserker: Khazan” is a hardcore action RPG where players embark on the legendary journey of Khazan, immersing themselves in the world of Nexon’s famous Dungeon & Fighter Universe franchise. The game is set for global release on March 28, KST.

The Odyssey 3D monitor, unveiled at CES 2024 and awarded the prestigious Best of Innovation Award, will be launched worldwide in April, offering groundbreaking 3D technology that elevates the gaming experience for players around the globe.
